Factories might be the workplace of the last century, but the industrial style it yielded is quickly becoming a focal point of our home decor, lighting, and furniture trends. We see hints of this movement in the weathered wood of HGTV's homes, exposed brick in our favorite restaurants, industrial lighting at shopping boutiques, and subtle aesthetics in the public spaces we frequent. We are drawn to this style because of its clean lines and simple design. The industrial look is trending because of its nod to the use of something old reclaimed as new.

Here at Creations, we are seeing the industrial influence becoming part of the vision our brides have for their wedding day. Barns and warehouses are becoming sophisticated wedding venues. We are creating casual elegance for wedding festivities with light airy florals that soften industrial combinations of brick and metal, glass and wood.

The Creations team recently designed a uniquely industrial wedding reception. We took our idea all the way to Peoria, Illinois to make the Bride’s dream a reality. Family and friends were captivated and delighted by the unexpected use of backdrops, tablescapes, lighting, and florals we brought together. This industrial inspired space was the perfect setting for the celebration of the love between Erin and Jesse! We want to thank them for letting us be a part of their special day and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
